Greetings, Commander! We have recently updated our news detection drones to catch the news from projects that simply post their current beta on sites like GitHub, and whenever they update it, they delete the previous one and post the new one. Due to the way our news detection drones worked, there was a challenge in doing this. And there are still some catchy things because they do not post their changelog. So, we have to guess that too. However, with that feature in mind, we can introduce some different projects in our news posts. Let's get started with Thyme, then.

For those unaware, Thyme is an open-source re-implementation of Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. This project is a bottom-up rewrite of Generals: Zero Hour, using the original binary to provide functions that have not been implemented yet. The intention is to allow the fixing of bugs, implementation of new features, and porting to platforms unsupported by the original.

Our fellow scripts detected that there was a beta release of it yesterday. Compared with the previous release, detected on 13/12/2022, it seems that jonwil has been implementing some weapon templates.

Be aware that this version is playable, and you can test it and help speed up its development. And it will also become a nice way to achieve, in Zero Hour, what Ares does nowadays with Yuri's Revenge: new features for modding.

You can learn more about Thyme by visiting the Official Website, and Discord Channel. Grab the latest version of Thyme by clicking Here. And this is all for today! Enjoy Thyme and provide your feedback about it so it can get better.
